Seal-Slurry Coating
Seal Coating is a method of preserving asphalt paving. Not only does it give the dark black appearance back to asphalt but, it fills in rock pockets of the surface which prevents surface raveling.
To preserve your new asphalt surface, it is advisable to seal coat it after it has been paved. Seal coating too soon, however, may cause damage to the new asphalt surface.
Slurry-coating is recommended when a little more than sealer is required but the pavement is not in need of resurfacing with new asphalt. Slurry-Sealer contains silica sand (50-70 mesh) for traction and uniform textured appearance.
When to seal coat:
3-12 months after it has been paved and every 2-3 years thereafter

Pavement Sealer is applied by hand on smaller areas and by machine on larger projects. Seal Coating can be done 7 days a week with Sunday becoming very popular for industrial applications.
We use only proven products like STAR SEAL Asphalt Pavement Sealer which is certified to meet and/or exceed Federal Government Specifications ASTM D 5727-00 formerly RP-355e (GSA-FSS), properly diluted to provide correct application consistency for maximum effectiveness.
